Robert Owens is one of dance music’s most celebrated and influential vocalists, a gifted singer, songwriter, producer, and DJ whose career spans more than four decades. He also remained a globally respected DJ, touring across the UK, Europe, Japan, and the Americas, and holding prominent London club residencies. In 2008 Robert released Night-Time Stories — his first full-length album in a decade — featuring collaborations with the world’s leading house producers and hailed as a stunning return to form. In the years since, Robert has continued to create, collaborate, and perform with undiminished passion. He has remained a constant presence on the global stage, releasing new material, lending his incomparable vocals to a fresh generation of electronic music producers, and bringing his unique blend of deep house, soul, and jazz to audiences old and new. His love of live performance has remained central to his artistic journey. Robert continues to tour extensively with his full live band, seamlessly fusing classic house, real instrumentation, and rich jazz textures into a spellbinding show that brings his catalogue vividly to life. Most recently, he delivered a spectacular headline performance at London’s Jazz Cafe last year — a sold-out homecoming show that saw him perform classics and new material alike, receiving rapturous applause and standing ovations from a packed house.
